SEOUL August 29 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group Rocket Punch returned back to the music scene in six months with their brand new single “FLASH” on Monday.
Throughout the comeback media showcase held online, the group reveled their ambition of wanting to achieve the title of “rising star.”
The title track “FLASH” is an Melbourne bounce genre of music with an up tempo bass line with a synthesizer sound. Throughout the song the repeating phrase “Light Signal Action” is very addictive.
Other than the title track, Rocket Punch’s single “FLASH” contains, dance tune “Moon Prism” which withholds the story of reminiscence and how if time travel was possible they would return back in time to their own younger self. Also the single contains a disco track “Beep Beep” which describes the moment when someone falls in love. Including the title track “Flash,” “Moon Prism,” and “Beep Beep” total of 3 tracks will be included within the album.
“Overall mood and the color of the title track ‘FLASH’ is very similar to our group, therefore the music feels like we are wearing our own tailored suit.” adding “It is a track where one can freely enjoy as if they are at a party.” described Rocket Punch’s Su yun throughout the comeback media showcase.
“If our previous track ‘Yellow Punch’ talked about how we want to show diverse aspects of Rocket Punch throughout the stages and performances in the near future, our album ‘Flash’ deals with more mature version of Rocket Punch.” announced Da Hyun throughout the online comeback media showcase.
Moreover, Da Hyun showed her confidence by stating “So far we have shown our fans our young and freshness through our previous albums, but our latest album “FLASH” features more mature and complete version of Rocket Punch through various experiences.”
Oldest member of the group Juri Takahashi stated that “Dance routine changed about five to six times until the day before we were expected to shoot our music video.” adding “Constant changes were bit challenging, however, it became one of the good memory that we can always revisit. I am glad to show you guys a perfect dance routine.”
K-pop girl group Rocket Punch debuted with their track “Bam Bam Bum” and showcase various tracks such as “Bouncy,” “Ring Ring,” “Chiquita” and more.
