SEOUL, Nov. 14 (Yonhap) -- Composer Cho Yeong-su, a famous hit song maker, will produce his first girl band, his management agency, Nextar Entertainment announced Friday.
The company will recruit applicants who were born in between 2001 and 2005 for their upcoming girl-group audition which will take place from the 15th to the 30th of November. Applicants can apply for 3 divisions – vocal, rap and dance.
“The audition is the starting point for Nextar’s ambition to prepare a rookie girl group. Those who make it through the finals will begin preparing for debut,” said the entertainment.
What’s intriguing is that this will be Cho’s first girl band, the composer of multiple hit songs for T-ara, Orange Caramel and Hong Jin-young. The composer will be in charge of producing for the band.
