Kim Ho-joong to Proceed with Scheduled Concerts Despite Hit-and-Run Charges

SEOUL, May 17 (Yonhap) -- Singer Kim Ho-joong (33), who has been booked by the police on hit-and-run charges, will go ahead with his "Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour" concert scheduled to be held in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, starting on the 18th.

 

A representative from Kim Ho-joong's agency confirmed to Yonhap News on the 17th, "The concert in Changwon scheduled for tomorrow will proceed as planned."

 

The "Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour" performances on May 18-19 at the Changwon Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium mark Kim Ho-joong's first public appearance since his police booking on the 14th. There is considerable interest in whether he will address the recent incident during the concert.

 

The agency representative stated, "There is no internally set policy regarding Kim Ho-joong making a statement about the incident," adding, "We do not know what he will say during the performance."

 

Following the Changwon concert, Kim Ho-joong is set to perform at the "World Union Orchestra Super Classic: Kim Ho-joong & Prima Donna" event at Seoul Olympic Park on May 23-24. Additionally, he will continue his "Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour" with performances at the Gimcheon Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeongbuk on June 1-2.
