SEOUL, May 17 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group IVE has been named one of Forbes' '30 Under 30 Asia' for 2024, according to their agency, Starship Entertainment, on the 17th.

The Forbes list, released on the 15th (local time) on its website, includes IVE as the sole K-pop artist among the honorees.

Each year, Forbes selects 30 leaders under the age of 30 in 10 different categories, including finance, arts, and sports, from 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. IVE was recognized in the Entertainment & Sports category.

Forbes described IVE as "one of the most popular girl groups in the fiercely competitive K-pop market" and noted that their debut song "ELEVEN" has surpassed 220 million views on YouTube.

Member An Yu-jin expressed her gratitude through their agency, saying, "It is a great honor and I am truly thankful. We have been enjoying performing and connecting with many DIVE (IVE's fandom) during our recent world tour. We will continue to work hard to deliver great performances and music."

IVE is currently promoting their second mini-album 'IVE SWITCH,' which was released on April 29. Additionally, since last October, they have been on their first world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE.' In August, they are set to perform at the large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in the United States.
