Park Hae-soo of 'Squid Game,' becomes father in 2 yrs of marriage

SEOUL, Sep. 29 (Yonhap) -- Actor Park Hae-soo (40) has become a father.

“Recently Park’s wife has given birth to a son. The mother and the son are both healthy,” said his agency BH Entertainment Wednesday.

Park married a 6-year younger woman in 2019 whom he met through an acquaintance.

The actor who debuted in 2007 with a play “Mr. Lobby” has actively taken part in productions on stages, screens and in TVs. He has received love with series “Prison Playbook.”

He played the main character for “Squid Game” and has gained global popularity. The actor will return in TV with OCN Saturdays-Sundays series “Chimera” (translated) on the 30th of October.
