SEOUL, May 13 (Yonhap) -- "We'll fill everyone's hearts with refreshing vibes, allowing you to shake off worries with pop music that feels like it'll burst your heart." (Park Gun-wook)

K-pop boy group ZeroBaseOne expressed their determination to become the freshest idols of the summer during a showcase held on the 13th at the Seoul Blue Square Mastercard Hall to commemorate the release of their third mini-album, "You had me at HELLO."

"You had me at HELLO" tells the story of youthful romance, where two hearts fall in love at first sight and soar together. It concludes the narrative of 'youths falling in love at first sight after a destined encounter' that began with their first and second mini-albums.

The album includes seven tracks, including "Solar POWER," conveying the brighter shine brought by a destined partner, "SWEAT," a song about getting lost in the dance with one's partner, and "HELLO," ZeroBaseOne's first fan song.

Sung Han-bin stated, "We expressed the reckless yet exciting story of youth in our own style," adding, "We included songs that complete the destined encounters and confessions that have continued since our first album."

The title track, "Feel the POP," is an easy-listening song expressing the determination to explode all negative emotions felt by the destined partner. With choreography that unfolds like bursting bubbles and lyrics repeating "POP," it delivers a sense of pleasure.

Ricky explained, "There are choreographed sections that express the idea of stress bursting according to the lyrics 'POP.' It's choreography that allows you to relieve stress just by watching."

The members set the goal of showcasing their musical strengths through this mini-album. Instead of feeling pressured by their past achievements, they prepared for this album with excitement and anticipation for the future.

Kim Gyu-vin stated, "Our biggest goal with this album is to enter the 'Top 100' on music streaming sites," expressing, "We hope you listen to our songs anytime, anywhere, whether you're having a hard time or commuting."

Debuting in July last year through the Mnet audition program "Boys Planet," ZeroBaseOne will celebrate their first anniversary two months later. Having achieved 'Double Million Seller' status with their previous two mini-albums, they will continue their activities with overseas tours in the second half of the year.

Zhang Hao said, "Thanks to the love from our fans, Zero's, since our debut, we were able to establish ourselves as icons of the fifth generation idols," promising, "We will continue to show the growth of ZeroBaseOne steadily."

In addition to group activities, members have achieved success in individual activities, such as Kim Tae-rae's release of the OST for the drama "Queen of Tears." During the showcase, Ricky performed a short acting piece to Kim Tae-rae's song.

Looking back on the past year, ZeroBaseOne expressed gratitude for "the achievements made possible by everyone's passionate support" and pledged to continue meeting the expectations of their fans.

"The passion shown by the members and Zero's (ZEROSE) over the past year is invaluable to us. Thank you for being with us, and we will continue to be ZeroBaseOne, always with Zero's." (Sung Han-bin)
