SEOUL, Sept. 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korean gaming app company Devsisters announced Monday that its flagship game "Cookie Run: Kingdom" ranked third in popular game rankings of Apple's App Store on Sunday, just one day after its launch in the Japanese game market.
"The advertisement videos and voice actor-related contents released earlier on as the game's campaign in Japan seemed to have increased people's interest in the characters and the game itself," Devsisters said.
The gaming app company is currently working hard to target the local Japanese game market by having launched "Cookie Run: Kingdom" on Sept. 4 and using famous Japanese model-actress Elaiza Ikeda as the advertising model.
Devsisters is also seeking to enter the U.S. and European markets by selecting English-language voice actors and recording narrations for the game. .
