Ren from NU’EST joins Soyou·VIVIZ’s agency

SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- Ren(real name Choi Min-gi), a former member of K-pop boy group NU'EST, has joined the new agency.

Big Planet Made released Ren's photo through its official social media page on May 7 and announced, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Ren."

Since the singer’s debut as a member of NU'EST in 2012, he has drawn attention by releasing songs, such as "OVERCOME," "Love Paint," "LOVE ME," and "I'm in Trouble."

Ren has also appeared in musicals, including "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and "Jamie."

Big Planet Made said, "We’re happy to be with Ren, who has diverse charms and musical talents. We will support the artist to the fullest for his dynamic activities in the future."

Big Planet Maid includes S. Korean singers Soyou, VIVIZ, Huh Gak, Ha Sung-woon, Lee Mu-jin and BE’O. Recently, hip-hop duo Mighty Mouth and actress Jo Soo-min have also joined the agency.
