Negative for COVID-19, Yu Jae-seok returns to schedules

SEOUL, Aug. 3 (Yonhap) -- Korea’s ‘national MC’ Yu Jae-seok was confirmed negative for COVID-19 infection, Tuesday. 

He is officially returning to schedules on the 5th starting with filming MBC TV variety show, “Hang Out with Yoo." 

“Yu took the test for COVID-19 infection after one of the staff from ‘You Quiz on the Block’ was diagnosed with the virus infection. Though Yu was tested negative, he went into self-quarantine,” Yu's management agency, Antenna, explained. 

“Later, Yu was classified into individuals under active monitoring, but we cancelled all official schedules for safety measures."


“We sincerely appreciate those who worried for and supported Yu, and the medical workers at the front lines in the pandemic. We will prioritize the health of our artists and staff and promise to always strictly comply with the quarantine lines,” said Antenna Music.
