GYEONGJU, Sept.28 (Yonhap) -- Gyeongju City was the capital of Silla, the first kingdom to have united the Korean Peninsula and lasted for a 1,000 years. This photo, taken on Sep. 28, 2021 shows the Tumuli in Seoak-dong which is a royal graveyard of the Silla kings during 6~7th century. The graveyard is located at the foot of Seondosan Mountain (altitude of 390 meters), westside of the Gyeongju basin.
