SEOUL, October 26 (Yonhap) -- The Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival, where the audience can see 61 films related to fashion, will be held at Lotte Cinema, Gasan digital branch, starting from November 4 to 6.
The Geumcheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, and the organizing committee of the Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival held a press conference at the Korea Press Center on Wednesday, and discussed the purpose of the film festival, the schedule, the main screened films, and more.
The film festival's purpose is to let people know about the fashion industry, which is the specialized industry of Geumchon-gu, and it was held last year, marking its second year this time.
44 films made it to the top among 912 videos (fashion 879, commercial 33) which participated in the competition which was held in July and August, divided into "Fashion Movie" and "Commercial Movie" (video).
The 44 films chosen will be screened during the film festival. Actor Ku Hye-sun's "Dark Yellow," director Yoon Seong-ho's short movie "Parallel Adventure of Madam Mizy," and more famous films are included.
In addition, 14 officially invited movies, and three opening movies will be screened for free.
From October 27 to November 3, 2010, applicants can apply for screening on the official website of the Geumcheon Fashion Film Festival (gcfff.net).
