SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- Binary Korea, a subsidiary of Hybe, has announced the official launch of the creator fan community platform 'Theus' on the 22nd of this month.

Developed by Binary Korea, 'Theus' is Korea's first platform dedicated to creator-fan interactions, created in collaboration with digital entertainment company Sandbox Network.

'Theus' allows creators to upload content to their dedicated spaces and engage directly with their fans. The name 'Theus' signifies a space where creators and fans become 'us'.

Binary Korea and Sandbox Network signed a memorandum of understanding in October last year to pursue this joint venture. While Binary Korea focuses on app development, Sandbox Network manages the onboarding and operation of creators on the platform.

Currently, 'Theus' boasts around 20,000 users and includes prominent YouTubers such as Ddotty, Yeolnnie, and Ttottokkeoppeul. Additional creator teams like Cheese Film and 1Minute are expected to join the platform before its official launch.

The service will kick off with an official launch party on the 22nd, featuring creators from the platform. Kim Sung-min, CEO of Binary Korea, expressed optimism about 'Theus', inviting fans and creators to explore this new playground.
