SEOUL, August 12 (Yonhap) -- The National Folk Museum of Korea will be opening the special exhibition "The Mysterious Village," on August 17.
This exhibition will be introducing the gods who have lived with us from the past till the present.
Various gods will be expressed through realistic video contents, from the gods dwelling in Jangseung and Sotdae guarding the entrance to the village, the gods hiding around the house, the dragon crouching at the flag, the mischievous goblin, till the grim reaper which guides the underworld.
After downloading a dedicated application (app), visitors will be able to collect AR-based character cards located throughout the exhibition hall. A souvenir will also be given to visitors who have collected all the characters of the gods.
