BTS's Jungkook in Charge of Cooking in Military Service

SEOUL, March 19 (Yonhap) -- It has been confirmed that BTS member Jungkook, who enlisted in December last year, is serving as a cook in the military.

According to authorities in the music industry on the 19th, Jungkook is performing his duties as a cook after completing basic military training.

Jungkook, along with fellow member Jimin, enlisted in the active-duty service at the 5th Infantry Division of the Army in December last year.

On the 16th, Jungkook updated fans on the fan community platform Weverse, saying, "I'm doing well. I'm also exercising diligently. I clean very thoroughly, even up to the ceiling," and added, "I'm cooking well."

Before his enlistment, Jungkook often showcased his cooking skills by sharing homemade dishes like pasta and makguksu through Weverse and personal broadcasts.
