SEOUL, September 5 (Yonhap) — Pre-released song “Pink Venom” from girl group BLACKPINK’s second full album has been streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, announced their agency YG Entertainment on Monday.

“Pink Venom” has achieved 100 million streams in 17 days, the shortest period for a K-pop female artist. BLACKPINK broke their own record of 100 million streaming in the shortest time (29 days) in two years.

In July 2020, Blackpink set a record of 100 million streams in the shortest time with “How You Like That.”

BLACKPINK now has a total of 24 billion worth of streaming music on Spotify, including “Pink Venom.”

Pink Venom topped the iTunes charts in 75 countries after its release and topped Billboard's Global 200 chart and Global excluding the US charts.
