SEOUL April 18 (Yonhap) -- “I personally believe the line by protagonist Kim Do-gi, to On Ha-jun, ‘Certain things are retrievable by remembering, therefore one needs to remember.’ This line pierces right through the main point of the series, If we manages to remember the pain and sadness, from the past, it will provide us with an opportunity to prevent such incidents from repearting itself.“ addressed actor Lee Je-hoon throughout the interview conducted at a small café in Gangnam, Seoul, on April 17.

“Taxi Driver Season 2” depicts series of story on a undercover taxi company where they pull revenge on criminals in charge of imprisonment of foreign workers, scamming elderly, school violence, sexual abuse using drugs, and various more. Season 2 of the series has successfully exceeded over 21 percent of the viewing rate, easily passing by the 16 percent of viewing rate set by the first season.
Lee Je-hoon addressed “It is amazing and I am very thankful to have such wonderful audiences who not only stop after watching TV series but also take time to truly think about the subject matter and remember the tragic events.”

However, actor also addressed “Despite of my high hopes, shooting the series was not an easy task, I started off with the scenes within Vietnam, when I first got there, it was a monsoon season and on top of everything, COVID 19 was still a very widely spread disease, therefore, stakes were very high, as a result out filming crew had to retrieve back to South Korea without being able to film everything,” adding “However I am very happy that we were able to finish without any major problems.”
As for his return with season three, actor Lee Je-hoon addressed “I participated the last shoot of season 2 with one thing in mind, I hope we can continue on with the series,“ adding “I haven’t received any offer yet, however I am waiting.”
