SEOUL, Jan. 26(Yonhap) – S. Korean singer Hyolyn has tested positive for the new coronavirus, according to the agency Bridge Entertainment on Jan. 26.
Hyolyn was informed a close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case from the web entertainment show “Double Trouble” while waiting for KBS 2TV “Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook” shooting on Tuesday.
The singer stopped the schedule and tested the PCR test, from which she tested positive. All other staff members tested negative.
The agency explained, “Hyolyn cancelled all schedules that were planned and is taking all necessary measures in accordance with the quarantine authorities,” adding, “Hyolyn received a second shot, and tested negative from a self-diagnosis kit ahead of the ‘Double Trouble’ shooting.”
Earlier, WEi’s Kim Dong-han, who appeared in “Double Trouble,” also tested positive for COVID-19.
