"The Forbidden Marriage" is set in Joseon of anohter planet similar to the Earth where a marriage is ban for more than seven years.

The drama depicts unique Joseon wth the setting of multi-verse (multi-cosmology), being free from historical research.

The court lady suddenly approaches to the King and takes off his clothes, while the ascetic takes away King's knife when King uses it against courtier.

However, some say that the exciting revenge drama has become less fun as Jin Do joon, who had been shaking Jin's family with a meticulous brain fight, eis having hard time overcoming small crisis.

The drama has begun with 6.1 percent of viewership in the first episode, and has been breaking its own highest ratings in each episode. The drama nearly recorded 20%, known as golden rating, in the eight episode with 19.4 percent.
