SEOUL, March 19 (Yonhap) -- Music producer GooseBumps (Jung Hyun-je) apologized for assaulting rapper Noel (Jang Yong-joon), who is the son of lawmaker Jang Je-won from the ruling People Power Party.
On the 19th, GooseBumps revealed through social media, "Recently, without any explanation, I approached Noel and, unable to contain my excitement, threw a punch." He further stated, "Noel did nothing wrong," and expressed his apology to Noel for the harm caused.
Earlier, Noel confessed on his own social media the day before, stating, "He (GooseBumps) got excited and unilaterally kicked the bottles on the table, threw them with his hands, and punched." He admitted to being a victim of assault.

Noel, who had previously received a one-year prison sentence for refusing a breathalyzer test, commented, "Criticism and ridicule of my past mistakes are my responsibility," adding, "However, I believe that you will objectively judge this matter."
On the same day GooseBumps issued his apology, Noel posted screenshots of his conversation with GooseBumps and the apology letter, stating, "It has been resolved well."
