K-pop boy group MCND to release 4th mini album "The Earth: Secret Mission Chapter 2"

SEOUL, July 7 (Yonhap) -- “Our 4th mini album 'The Earth Secret Mission Chapter 2' encompasses our ambition to steal our fans heart from all over the world.”

K-pop Boy group MCND showed their ambition to become a global K-pop star during the press showcase held for their upcoming mini album “The Earth Secret Mission Chapter 2” on Thursday.

Quintet boy group MCND wants their fans to know that they are not only great performers but also great singersl.

“The Earth: Secret Mission Chapter 2” which took 11 months to release, shares the same multiverse as their previous album “The Earth: Secret Mission Chapter 1” which was released in August of 2021.

Both of the album lies on a same multiverse where members of MCND go on trip to an Earth like planet called Kepler1649 to meet their fans.

The album consists of the title track “#MOOD” followed by “Blow”, “Redsun”, “Back to you”, “W.A.T.1” and “Juice”.

The title track “#MOOD” is a Hip hop dance track with a theme of fun and dynamic, which encompasses MZ generation’s freedom to express themselves.

Unlike their title track MCND is trying out a new type of genre, ballad, with their track “Back to you” which is also included in their 4th mini album.

“We dedicate the track ‘Back to you’ to our loving fans, ‘Gem’ who we haven’t been able to meet for the past 11 months.” Huijun explained during the press showcase for their upcoming album “The Earth Secret Mission Chapter 2”.

Moreover, “Not getting yourself restricted to specific something or a genre is the best direction.” adding “MCND is a group with limitless potentials we are capable of covering numerous genres such as ballad, hip hop, R&B and much more, hence, I want to create a fun music which we can all happily laugh to.” Said the leader Castle J during the press showcase held on Thursday.
