'Park Yoo-chun''s younger brother, actor Park Yu-hwan under investigation for smoking marijuna

SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- Actor Park Yu-hwan, younger brother of singer Park Yoo-chun who is infamous for drug administration and retirement reversing scandals, is under police investigation for having smoked marijuana.

Yonhap News gathered that Park is being questioned for violating the Narcotics Control Act by the Gyeonggi Nambu Police Agency Wednesday.

The police are investigating on his smoking marijuana with two Korean companions in a restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand in December last year.

The actor was in Thailand to make a special appearance in his brother, Park Yoo-chun’s concert there and smoked the drug with the other two, according to the police.

Yonhap News found out that all three of them admitted to their charges and Park is waiting to be summoned for investigation.

“As the case is under investigation, details such as specific charges cannot be disclosed,” said an official from the police.

Park debuted as an actor with MBC TV weekends-series, “Twinkle Twinkle” in 2011. Later, he appeared in various productions such as “A Thousand Days’ Promise,” “I Need Romance 3” and “She Was Pretty.”

After appearing in a 2017-released film, “One-line,” he has been working as a BJ, an Internet one-man media broadcaster.
