SEOUL, March 30 (Yonhap) -- Korea National University of Arts announced Lee Chae-won (19), a modern contemporary dance sophomore, won the gold prize in the Contemporary Dance Solo category of the 19th Berlin International Dance Festival TANZOLYMP.
The competition was held online from February 17th to the 22nd due to COVID-19, and the winners were announced on March 24th.
Lee won first place in the 2018 Korea International Modern Dance Contest, gold prize in 2019 and 2020 Dong-a dance competition contemporary dance, first place in the 2020 Seoul International Dance Contest, and the grand prize in 2021 TanzOlymp Asia Seoul.
