SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) – JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "Agency," in which actor Lee Bo-young turned into a creative director of an advertising company, has started with a viewer rating of 4%.
The first episode of "Agency," which aired at 10:30 p.m. the previous day, had a rating of 4.8%, according to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company on Sunday.
In the first episode, the advertisement agency VC Group’s CD Go Ah In (Lee Bo-young), who dominated the advertising industry with only her skills, won the company's internal presentation and was promoted to an executive.
However, Choi Chang-soo (Cho Seong-ha), managing director of the planning division, who considers Go Ah In as a thorn in his side, smiled significantly, suggesting that the PT was a trap made to interrupt the success of Go Ah In.
Go Ah In is a character who is called a ‘don-ciopath,’ which is a compound word of money and sociopath since she is so immersed in success. She ignores Kwon Woo-chul (Kim Dae-gon), who is inferior to her and criticizes her juniors.
After work, she drank a glass full of soju without eating a proper meal, took sleeping pills, and fell asleep, and on the day before PT, she stayed up all night at work to fix her ad copy until the end showing how determined she was.
Lee Bo-young, who played Go Ah In, has led the play in a cold and chilly atmosphere by taking full advantage of her urban vibe. On top of that, Jeon Hye-jin, who plays the role of Jo Eun-jung, a copywriter who newly joined Go Ah In's team, contrasted with Lee Bo-young with her bright appearance, adding the fun of watching.
