SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Yonhap) -- The cast of "The Meisa's song," a Korean military musical scheduled to be released next month in an 'untact' or contact-free style, has been revealed.

"The Meisa's song," the sixth military musical and commemoration of the 30th anniversary of joining the United Nations, is based around two countries Kamur, a fictional country where civil wars have continued for a long time, and Korea where K-pop auditions are held.

Raman, who was born and raised in Kamur, participates in K-pop auditions while also looking for a soldier named Meisa who protected him in the past.

Chanyeol, a member of K-pop boy band EXO, was cast as Raman who searches for Korea while participating in K-pop auditions. Singer-actor Kim Myung-soo and boy band B.A.P's Jung Dae-hyun will take on the role of Yeon Jun-seok, a character who comes to Kamur after applying with his friend as part of the armed forces dispatched overseas. Actor Moon Yong-suk will play Yoon Sun-ho who works for the United Nations and dreams of helping people and contributing to world peace.

Musical stars Brad Little and Michael Lee will alternately appear as commanders of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force.

In addition, a total of 41 people, including South Korean soldiers and ensembles with outstanding singing and acting skills, will appear on the stage.

The musical will be broadcast online between Oct. 15-17 and tickets will be sold from the end of this month.
