SEOUL April 25 (Yonhap) -- South Korean movie “Next Sohee” received an award from Creteil International Women’s Film Festival.
The Creteil International Women’s Film Festival is a French award ceremony which kicked off in 1979 dedicated itself on shining spotlight on various female directors who are worthy of recognition.
“Next Sohee” was also received an award from “Remis Polar Festival Du Film Policier.” Moreover the movie was received an award from the “Florence Korea Film Festival.”
Director Jung Ju-ri depicts a story of female protagonist Sohee who suffers from the inhumane work environment throughout the movie “Next Sohee.” The movie was selected as a closing movie at the Cannes International Film Festival.
