SEOUL, May 2 (Yonhap) – K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation’s Hyo-yeon will make a comeback with her first solo mini album.

Hyo-yeon will drop the first mini album “DEEP” through diverse music platforms on May 16 at 6 p.m., according to the agency SM Entertainment on Monday.

This album is the singer’s first mini album as a solo artist and it contains seven songs of electronic genre, including her new and old songs that display diverse charms as well as the title song “DEEP.”

Hyo-yeon debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and has performed as a sub vocal and main dancer.

Since then, she showed off her musical talents as a solo artist by releasing “Mystery” and “Wannabe,” and also performed as a DJ under the name “DJ HYO.”
