MGMP to host 'Vision Bangkok' in Thailand on June

SEOUL March 21 (Yonhap) -- On the 21st, MPMG MUSIC, a music agency representing bands such as Thornapple and SURL, announced that they will be hosting the overseas label festival "VISION BANGKOK" in Bangkok, Thailand on June 8th.

"VISION BANGKOK" marks MPMG MUSIC's first music festival abroad. For this event, MPMG MUSIC has collaborated with local music labels "Smallroom" and "What the Duck."

The festival will feature 14 teams of representative indie artists from both Korea and Thailand. Specific lineup details will be announced at a later date.

MPMG MUSIC is known for organizing popular music festivals in Korea such as the "Grand Mint Festival" and "Beautiful Mint Life."

MPMG MUSIC stated, "Following the success of K-pop, we aim to showcase the emerging trend of Korean band music to the international audience, and foster cultural exchange between artists from both countries." They added, "We hope audiences will pay attention to the new synergy that will unfold here."
