SEOUL, July 2 (Yonhap) -- Jay Park made a surprise appearance as a business partner at Kakao Entertainment's town hall meeting, designed for communication with its employees.

On the 2nd, Kakao Entertainment announced that Jay Park attended the "NTalk" partner session held at their Jonggak office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the 28th of last month, where he engaged in various discussions with the employees.

Although Jay Park is better known as a singer, he is also the CEO of the agency More Vision. During the session, he introduced More Vision and discussed K-pop trends and future collaboration plans with Kakao Entertainment.

"Kakao Entertainment was the first to resonate with More Vision's philosophy," he said. "I want to combine Kakao Entertainment's music business capabilities with the expertise I've built up so far to grow More Vision into a label with uniquely colored artists."

Jang Yoon-jung, CEO of Kakao Entertainment, also mentioned that the two companies will closely collaborate in the future.

The leader section of the event also included explanations of the highly regarded story intellectual property (IP) business. Park Jong-chul, head of Kakao Entertainment's story business division, emphasized that the company sells over 50 IP rights annually, driving the trend of adaptations, and stated, "It's time to attempt various IP projects aimed at the global market."

NTalk is a monthly town hall event initiated by Kakao Entertainment in May. It consists of a leader session to share the company's vision, a crew session for employee participation, and a partner session to meet creators from subsidiaries, affiliates, and partner companies.

Kakao Entertainment plans to use regular NTalk events to increase exchanges among employees.
