SEOUL,
Oct. 23 (Yonhap) --
The event will feature 62 booths showcasing LPs, albums, and music-related merchandise, offering visitors a look into Korea’s vinyl culture and industry trends.
More than 40 albums will be released exclusively at the fair, including special “Seoul Record Fair limited editions” by artists such as E Sens, Cho Won-sun, DJ Soulscape, and Wave to Earth. Mini-album LPs by 10cm, Sunwoo Jung-a, and O3ohn, as well as autographed LPs by Lee Seung-yoon, will also be available for the first time.
A section dedicated to Thai music will feature solo albums by Wim of the popular duo H3F. Additionally, the 2LP original soundtrack of the hit video game “Battlegrounds” will be unveiled at the fair.
Organizers noted that booths selling exclusive or limited-edition items will have separate lines and entrances, advising first-time visitors to check signage and guidance at the venue entrance.
Launched in 2011 with 2,000 attendees, the fair grew to attract 20,000 visitors by 2019. Although the number has since declined by around 20 percent following the pandemic, about 13,000 people attended each session in 2023 and 2024.
This year’s event will also include special talks by Cho Won-sun, DJ Soulscape, and Lee Seung-yoon, as well as fan signings by Jung Won-young, Gogo Hak, and the Gwanak Youth Folk Association. More information is available on the fair’s official website and Instagram page.
