SEOUL, Dec. 24 (Yonhap) --The movie "Avatar: The Way of Water" has exceeded 4 million visitors in Korea on Friday, the 11th day of its release, according to distributor Walt Disney Company Korea.
The film, which has been leading South Korean box office since its release on December 14, attracted 3,999,000 viewers on the previous day and garnered an additional 1,000 people earlier in the day.
Although current record is not as fast as this year's box office No. 1 "The Roundup," which garnered 4 million people in less a week, but Avatar 2 is attracting audiences at the same as its previous film "Avatar," which attracted a total of 13.33 million viewers 13 years ago.
