US GRAMMY Museum to Exhibit K-Pop-Related Items for 1st Time

SEOUL, March 28 (Yonhap) -- An exhibition featuring the groups ATEEZ and xikers will be held at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles (LA).

 

According to their agency, KQ Entertainment, the exhibition 'KQ Entertainment (ATEEZ & xikers): Grammy Museum Popup' will take place from April 10th to June 10th at the Grammy Museum.

 

The agency introduced, "This exhibition marks the first K-pop related exhibition held at the Grammy Museum," adding, "Visitors will be able to see props from the stage costumes and music videos of both groups."

 

The Grammy Museum showcases records related to the history of the Grammy Awards, the most prestigious music awards in the United States, and past winners. In 2019, suits worn by BTS at the Grammy Awards were also exhibited alongside costumes of other artists.

 

Michael Sticka, President of the Grammy Museum, stated, "Korean popular music is one of the greatest phenomena in music culture history," and added, "ATEEZ and xikers are creating a new history."

 

According to the official introduction on the Grammy Museum's website, the exhibition will feature stage costumes from ATEEZ's second full-length album 'The World Episode: Final : Will' and props from the music video 'Crazy Form,' as well as stage costumes from xikers' mini 3rd album 'House of Tricky: Trial and Error.'
