SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Yonhap) -- Seoul's historic center, Jung-gu announced on Wednesday "2022 Myeong-dong Space Beer Festival" will be held at Myeong-dong area on Sept. 23-24.
This festival is held for the fist time to revitalize Myeong-dong area tourism, and it is hosted by Myeong-dong special tourist zone conference and microbeers start-up the satellite brewing, and supervised by festival company Heyway.
The festival will feature events such as tasting booth to try 10 different kinds of beer and "Beer Laboratory," a test to find best beer for each person.
Resting area reminiscent of Space, and adventrue concept photozone will be also taking place.
Stage placed in front of Myeong-dong Art Theater will play songs of various genre such as hip-hop and EDM to add festival vibe. Rappers BIGONE, Since, Lil Boi, Tabber, and singer Park Subin will perform as well.
Jung-gu mayor Kim Gil-sung said, "I hope this festival will revitalize Myeong-dong, which has been stagnant due to the pandemic," adding, "pople will be able to make unforgettable memories by drinking beer with special people and enjoying the stage."
