SEOUL, May 5 (Yonhap) -- Musical ‘Secretly, Greatly : THE LAST’ will perform for the first time in 2 years, after its early closing due to COVID-19 pandemic.

This performance, which is to be held in Daechi Art Hall of KT&G’s Sangsangmadang in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from May 14th to July 3rd, will make a fresh new start by casting Oh Jong-hyuk, who once performed as a member of 1st generation idol group CLICK B, Yoo Tae-yang from group SF9, and Yoo Hwe-seung from group NFlying, in addition to its original actors Paek In-tae and Seo Seung-won.

‘Secretly, Greatly : THE LAST’ is a story of three North Korean spies sent to South, disguising themselves respectively as an idiot, an aspiring singer, and a high school student, which is originally based on webtoon ‘Secretly, Greatly.’

The work has also been made as a movie in 2013, starred by actor Kim Soo-hyun, attracting about 7 million spectators.

Director Choo Jung-hwa said, “In musical, music has to be a sword and choreography has to be a martial art,” adding, “I made up my mind to make a musical in big theater, and I feel pleased to show a perfect choreography and martial art far more lively than in a small theater that I used to work in.”
