Rapper Ash Island (ASH ISLAND, real name Yoon Jin-young) and Japanese rapper Chanmina (CHANMINA) have announced their marriage and the joyous news of expecting a child.
According to the music industry on the 8th, Ash Island shared on his personal social media the previous day, "Mina and I have promised to spend our lives together," adding, "I am truly grateful and happy to become a family with Mina, who has always been my greatest support in every way."
He continued, "The even more joyful news is that a new life has come into our lives," expressing immense gratitude for the pregnancy news. He further added, "We will do our best to share the love we have received with many others."
Ash Island gained fame after appearing on Mnet's audition program "High School Rapper 2" and debuted in 2018. Known for his hit song "Paranoid," he recently ended his exclusive contract with Ambition Musik.
Chanmina appeared on Japan's hip-hop survival show "High School Rap Championship" in 2016 and debuted in 2017. She is currently active as a singer and producer in both Korea and Japan.
