SEOUL,
Nov. 21 (Yonhap) --
Cha will drop his new mini album “ELSE” at 1 p.m.
“ELSE” showcases a new side of Cha, revealing facets of himself beyond conventional boundaries. It marks his return to solo music 1 year and 9 months after his first mini album “ENTITY.”
The album features four tracks, including the title song “Saturday Preacher,” along with the party-themed “Sweet Papaya” and the cinematic love-confession-style “Selfish.”
The title track blends retro, funky sounds with Cha’s falsetto in a disco-styled arrangement.
Cha, who enlisted in July and is serving in the Army’s military band, completed album recording and related content production prior to enlistment. A performance video for “Saturday Preacher” will be released Nov. 24, followed by a music video for “Sweet Papaya” on Nov. 28.
