SEOUL November 09 (Yonhap) -- Italian Luxury brand Gucci will be supporting the Cultural Heritage Association with their conservation project of Gyongbokgung Palace, addressed Gucci on Wednesday.
On November 1, Gucci signed terms of agreement with Cultural Heritage Association.
Donation made by Gucci will be put into the conservation project for the duration of three years.
Originally Gucci was going to host a fashion show, showcasing their collection by director Alessandro Michele for the first time in South Korewa at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, however, due to the unfortunate tragedy took place at Itaewon on the night of the Halloween, the event was canceled.
CEO of Gucci, Marco Bizzarri addressed regarding the conservation project “Beauty is Gucci’s origin of muse,” adding “We are happy to be part of the conservation project of such beautiful cultural heritage of South Korea.”
