K-pop girl group TWICE celebrates 6th debut anniversary with fans

SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- In celebration of TWICE's sixth debut anniversary, the girl group members wished to work for as long as they can with their fans in the future.

On Wednesday, TWICE marked its sixth debut anniversary on Naver's streaming platform V Live and said, "Looking back on our journey, we thought a lot about ONCE (TWICE's global fandom name)," adding, "We sincerely thank ONCE for staying by us through the past six years," according to JYP Entertainment.

"We were able to gain a lot of strength and comfort, thanks to all the great love we have received, and we hope everyone can get the same energy from us and always be happy," the group added. "Thank you for always being there and we hope to come together in one place for our seventh debut anniversary."

TWICE also wished to "be together for a long time in the future."

The nine-piece act released various letters and videos for its fans in order to celebrate its sixth debut anniversary. TWICE's third full-length album will be released on Nov. 12, and a new single titled "Doughnut" will drop in Japan on Dec. 15.
