SEOUL, May 27 (Yonhap) -- Think Entertainment, the agency representing singer Kim Ho-joong, who was recently arrested on charges of drunk driving and hit-and-run, announced on the 27th that all staff members will resign and the CEO will be replaced in response to the incident.
In a statement released in the afternoon, Think Entertainment expressed, "We sincerely apologize for disappointing many due to the recent incident involving Kim Ho-joong... We extend our apologies to all our artists affected by this situation. We are currently reviewing the future of our management business and will prioritize the opinions of our artists when deciding to terminate their contracts without any conditions."
Think Entertainment currently manages artists including Kim Ho-joong, the group TAN, and actors Kim Kwang-kyu and Son Ho-jun.
The controversy has led to the arrest of not only Kim Ho-joong but also Think Entertainment's CEO Lee Kwang-deuk, who allegedly instructed a false confession, and former executive Jeon, who is accused of removing the memory card from the vehicle's black box.
The agency emphasized, "We will do our utmost to prevent further damage to all our partners affected by this incident. We apologize once again to everyone harmed by the actions of Think Entertainment and Kim Ho-joong."
