SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group Mamamoo will release a special movie for global fans next month to showcase its performances over the past seven years, its management agency said Monday.
"Mamamoo 2021 WAW Concert: The Movie" will be released in 39 CGV cinema chains nationwide, including CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul, on Dec. 3, RBW said.
The film will feature live performances of Mamamoo's seventh debut anniversary concert, which was held online in August this year.
In addition, performance videos of the four-piece group's 25 hit songs will be released so far, including its latest title track "Where Are We Now."
The movie is organized as a timeline of Mamamoo's past seven years, starting with the group's debut, and includes re-edited versions of songs representing each significant period within the group's career with live bands and orchestra.
"From Mamamoo's powerful singing skills to its cheerful personality, the movie will reveal the true value of Mamamoo's performance potential," RBW explained. "The movie features Mamamoo preparing for its performance as well as behind-the-scenes videos, which will be a special gift for fans."
