SEOUL, April 2 (Yonhap) -- Big Hit Music announced on the 2nd that the mini 6th album of the group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) sold over 1.18 million copies on the day of its release.
According to the music sales tracking site Hanteo Chart, TXT's mini album 'minisode 3: TOMORROW' sold a total of 1,187,103 copies on the release date, which was the 1st of last month.
Moreover, all the songs included in the new album entered the top 100 chart of Melon, the largest domestic music platform, as of the 1st day. The title track 'Deja Vu' recorded 10th place on the same chart on the 2nd day.
On global charts, the new album also ranked in the top 10 of the iTunes Top Albums chart in 23 countries and regions, achieving 1st place on the iTunes Top Albums charts in the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
Additionally, the music video for 'Deja Vu' surpassed 10 million views on YouTube in just over 8 hours after its release.
The 'minisode 3: TOMORROW', which was released the day before, includes a total of 7 songs, including the title track 'Deja Vu'.
