SEOUL, Nov. 25 (Yonhap) -- Rookie girl group IZNA is set to make their official debut with the release of their mini album N/a on Monday, its agency said.
Formed through the Mnet auditioning show "I-LAND 2," IZNA is a seven-member group comprising Mai, Bang Ji-min, Yoon Ji-yoon, Coco, Yoo Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, and Jung Se-bi.
The group's name embodies confidence, symbolizing the idea that "anytime, anywhere, anything can be defined as 'me' (N/a)," according to their agency, WakeOne.
The mini album includes five tracks, led by the title track "IZNA." The title song is characterized by its minimal beats and addictive chorus, showcasing the group’s ambition to astonish the world. The album also features easy-listening dance track "TIMEBOMB," as well as "DRIP" and "FAKE IT," which were mission songs during I-LAND 2.
The production was helmed by star producer Teddy, known for crafting hits for Big Bang and BLACKPINK.
Ahead of their official debut, IZNA unveiled their new song on November 22 at the 2024 MAMA Awards Japan, held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka.)
