SEOUL, March 11 (Yonhap) -- SM Entertainment announced on the 11th that Lucas, former member of K-pop group NCT, will release his first single "Renegade" next month, marking his solo debut.
The single, to be released April 1, will include three tracks, including lead track "Renegade."
"Renegade" is a hip-hop song with a rock base, expressing the determination to walk one's own path without hesitation, through changes for a better direction and a stronger inner self.
Lucas halted his group activities in 2021 following reports about misbehavior in private life. He quit NCT and its Chinese unit WayV in May last year.
