SEOUL October 08 (Yonhap) -- k-pop Superstar BLACKPINK’s second full length album “Born Pink” has successfully guarded its place on UK’s official album chart “Top 100” for three consecutive weeks.
According to the data released by the Official Chart on October 7 (UK time) “Born Pink” was ranked at 66th on the chart which is 29 steps lower than its previous record.
BLACKPINK managed to place two of their tracks within the “Official Single Chart 100.”
The title track “Shut Down” has placed 75th on the singles “Top 100.” And their pre released track “Pink Venom has placed 85thh on the list continuing on with their success.
UK’s Official chart is highly decorated music chart along with Billboard Chart within the music industry. BLACKPINK has managed to topped the Official chart along with South Korean superstar BTS.
BLACKPINK has managed to top not only in UK’s Official Chart but also in US’ Billboard Chart with their second full length album “Born Pink” for the first time as an Asian female artist.
South Korean superstar will kick off their world tour “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]” in Seoul KSPO DOME in Seoul on October 15 and 16.
Starting with their concert in Seoul, group will continue on with their world tour through North America, Europe, Asia Oceania, and more performing in front of over 1.5 million audiences, for the first time in K-pop girl group history.
