SEOUL, April 5 (Yonhap) -- Lay, Chinese singer and former member of K-pop boy group EXO, is set to release a solo album this month and embark on activities in Korea.
Lay's personal studio, Lay Zhang Studio, stated on the 5th, "We plan to release a Korean version of the global album being unveiled this month… He will engage in various activities, including appearances on Korean music shows."
Lay's activities in Korea will be supported by n.CH Entertainment, led by producer Jung Chang-hwan, who has ties to SM Entertainment.
Debuting with EXO in 2012, Lay began his solo career in earnest after his exclusive contract with SM expired in 2022.
He has gained recognition not only as a singer but also as an actor, starring in the Chinese film " No More Bets." In February, he collaborated with American pop star Lauv on the single "Run Back to You."
