CL, "SPICY," first single of first regular album narrated by John Malkovich

SEOUL, Aug. 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer CL will release first single “SPICY” of her first regular album “ALPHA” at 6 p.m. on Aug. 24.

Teaser of the music video for “SPICY” has been uploaded on the singer’s official SNS on the 19th, according to her agency Very Cherry.

In the teaser, CL and the dancers are standing with their backs to the front with a gigantic LED background. The song, with its powerful beat, seems to be a hiphop genre featuring CL’s charisma like “The Baddest Female” and “Hello Bitches.”

People are especially gaining keen interest to the song as John Malkovich, a legendary actor, is said to have taken part in the narration.

Malkovich has first met with CL filming “Mile 22” togehter and has been keeping in touch as a good mentor for the singer.

“ALPHA” which includes “SPICY” is receiving attention as it is CL’s first regular album as a solo artist.

She is planning to unveil the second singe of “ALPHA” next month, and to reveal the whole album in October.
