SEOUL, Oct. 9 (Yonhap) -- The side track of Lisa of BLACKPINK’s first single, “MONEY” has taken the world’s top 2 pop charts, American Billboard and UK Official.

This week, the amazing side track of Lisa’s 1st single “LALISA” has ranked 81st place on Official Chart in 4 weeks since its release, according to the recently revealed Official Singles Chart on the 8th.

This the first K-pop female solo singer’s side track to put up its name on Official Chart.

Even if the range widens to all K-pop singers, none has managed to enter their side track into the chart except for BTS.

Earlier, during the first week of the single’s release, the title song, “LALISA,” has ranked 68th on Official Singles Chart as well.

The performance video of “MONEY” on YouTube exceeded 100 million views in 15 days since upload.

“It is quite rare for a performance video, not a music video, to achieve 100 millions of views in such short term. Especially, the recorded figure carries a great meaning as it is an achievement without much activities related to the side track,” said the artist’s agency, YG Entertainment.

At first, “MONEY” did not receive attention as much as “LALISA,” but with its addictive chorus and impressive hip-hop sounds some fans said that it is as good as the title song.

Then, as videos related “MONEY” pouring out on TikTok, the song became hot like on fire.

Dance video of people dancing to the chorus starting with the lyrics, “Dolla bills Keep on fallin for me” or various parodies have been uploaded.

Some users uploaded videos mixing the song with Netflix’s global No. 1 series “Squid Game” in that the song’s lyrics and the series have some common points.

As a result, the side track climbed up Spotify Global chart, the world’s largest music streaming platform, and ranked 9th place on the 7th. The rank is higher than the title song “LALISA” (40th place).
