SEOUL, Aug.2 (Yonhap) – Singer actress Kim Se-jeong, former member of girl group Gugudan and I.O.I, is cast for SBS TV series “Business Proposal,” also known as “Office Blind Date”, which is set to broadcast in 2022, according to Kakao Company taking charge of the production, today.
The drama is based on Kakao Page (a webtoon platform) web-novel written by Haehwa. Kim will be playing as Shin Ha-ri who happens to go on a blind date with the CEO of the company she works for. The CEO, Kang Tae-mu is from a chaebol family (a notably wealthy family in South Korea) and the wits, the money and the capability as a businessman and not to mention, good looks.
Actor Ahn Hyo-seop will be taking over the role of Kang Tae-mu, Kim – Shin Ha-ri and together they will lead the romance drama.
“I really enjoyed the script and was sure that it be would fun working with the screenwriter, the director and the fellow actors,” “I am rather nervous for this is my first romance comedy, but more anticipation will be so thankful and I am putting a lot of effort in practicing and preparing to match my looks to the role,” said Se-jeong.
