SEOUL, Apr. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean streaming platform Wavve’s original series “Park Ha-kyung’s Journey,” starring actress Lee Na-young, will be unveiled on May 24, the streamer confirmed Monday.
This travel-themed series follows the story of a Korean literature teacher named Park Ha-kyung, who decides to leave behind her life and go on a small adventure for a day. Each episode features her journey in different places, during which he comes across different people and unexpected moments.
Led by filmmaker Lee Jong-pil, who has credits for producing the comedy film “Samjin Company English Class,” the series sees Lee as the adventurer. This also marks the first-ever series directed by the filmmaker.
Lee will be returning to the small screen in about four years after leading tvN’s rom-com “Romance Is a Bonus Book.”
