SEOUL December 13 (Yonhap) -- Representing figure of Koccca and professor of Korean Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Lim Dae-geun, addressed on Tuesday that both “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” and “Our Blues” were selected as the winner of “Content that changed the world.”
Awards were given out under five various segments, under the segment “Contents which fought against prejudice,” (literal translation) South Korean series, “Extra Ordinary Attorney Woo,” and Jeju 43 Peace Foundation’s opera “Aunt Suni” was selected under the category of “Content which broke the delusion” (literal translation).
Moreover, under the category of “Contents which helped us to dream of future,” Korean National Contemporary Dance Company’s AI based performance “Nondance Dance” was selected.
Under the “Contents which moved the public” tvN’s “Our Blues,” was selected, and under “Criticism worth attention” columnist Wui Geun-wu’s “Background of far foreign land of Surinam… however it follows the track of traditional South Korean overly populated male dominant film’ was selected.
“Content which shaped the world” award is created in order to recognize the cultural contents which has increased the life and the value of our culture within the year.
The award ceremony will be held at the Artist House in Jongno district in Seoul on December 17 at 3 p.m.
