SEOUL February 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop Superstar BTS’ anthology album “Proof” has successfully guarded its place within the “Billboard 200” for the 36 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on February 22, “Proof” was ranked 151st which is 64 steps lower than its previous ranking.
Moreover, BTS’ fourth full length album which was released in February of 2020, was ranked 6th within the “World Album” chart and it managed to re-penetrate the “Top Album Sales Chart” as 77th on the list.
BTS’ leader RM’s first solo album “Indigo” was ranked 9thh in “World Album chart,” 29th on “Top Current Album chart,” and 53rd on the “Top album Sales chart.”
Within the “Global Chart” which excludes tracks released in United States, South Korean singer Taeyang from Bigbang’s collaborative track with BTS’ Jimin, “VIBE” has charted at 115th within the list. Moreover, Jungkook’s “Dreamers” was placed 167th on the list, where as the collaborative track between Charlie Puth and Jungkook’s “Left and Right” was ranked 191st on the list.
K-pop girl group New Jeans’ “OMG” was charted at 76th on Billboard’s main singles chart “Hot 100” which is two steps lower than its previous ranking. However the group continued on with their record of being included within the chart for five consecutive weeks.
“OMG” also charted 14th within Billboard’s detailed segment “Global 200.” Pre-release track “Ditto” of the group’s single album “OMG” was ranked 19th within the same chart as “OMG” successfully guarding its place within the chart for 9 consecutive weeks.
New Jeans’ debut track “Hype Boy,” and “Attention” has managed to rank 75th and 195th within the chart.
Continuing on with the list of tracks included within the same chart, K-pop girl group LESSERAFIM’s “Antifragle” has dropped down to 95th within the chart compare to its previous record.
Title track “Shut Down” of BLACKPINK’s second full length album “Born Pink” was successfully ranked 166th within the “Global 200.” The pre-release track of the group “Pink Venom” was ranked 198th on the same chart as “Shut Down.”
